Mail-In-A-Box

Overview

The Mail-in-a-Box (MiB) offering is the ideal solution for the Medium Scale enterprise and involves the ownership of a dedicated mail server in the subscribing organisation's premises.

The MiB solution enables scheduled connections to ipNX mail server for delivery of external mails - access is usually achieved utilising either a dial-up connection or a dedicated ipNX Virtual Private Network pipe to the ipNX mail server.

In the dial-up mode the user company is assured of minimised phone bills as connections to the ipNX network is maintained only for the duration of mail download and delivery. With this solution subscribers do not worry about typical administration costs associated with mail servers. Set-up and configuration of additional users is intuitive and straightforward.

Additional benefits of this service, is that subscribers do not have to worry about associated costs of dedicated internet connections. ipNX also provides free anti-virus protection for all MiB servers

If your Domain Name is not currently registered by ipNX then you must either:
1. Ask your provider to transfer your Domain Name registration to ipNX (preferred) or
2. Ask your provider to change their nameserver records to point to ipNX nameservers
